Radical by Nature - Nature is the best architect of all.

Presented by Mogu and Matter of Stuff

By employing one of its finest technologies - mycelium - Mogu delivers responsible products for interior design.

We produce materials by growing selected strains of mycelium on pre-engineered substrates made of agro-industrial residues.

Our materials and products feature remarkable technical properties and radically innovative aesthetics. We offer new experiences, inspiring a more conscious relationship with the value, processes and life cycle of materials surrounding us in everyday life. A vision of home, offices, retails and spaces that embraces the radical character of Nature, to build a more honest and virtuous relationship with the ecosystem we are part of.

Smile about Plastics – Materials Reimagined. Designed to Inspire

Presented by Smile Plastics

Smile Plastics is a materials design and manufacturing house creating hand crafted, supersized panels for retail, architecture, interiors and product design around the world.

At Smile Plastics, we have two main goals. Firstly, we want to create the most beautiful circular plastics in the world – 100% recycled and 100% recyclable materials. Secondly, we want to challenge ideas about “waste” and the system that creates it.

11AM Sunlit Days & Hybriq+ Technloogy: Using Renewables and Recycling

Presented by Cosentino

The New Silestone with Hybriq+ Technloogy

An innovative generation of surfaces made entirely from renewable electricity, recycled water and a hybrid formulation. Silestone with HybriQ+® is a new high performance blend of premium minerals, quartz and recycled glass.

Commitment to innovation and quality has lead Silestone® to exceptional performance and amazing depth of colour, with the same quality and warranty that has proven us as market leaders.

HybriQ+® uses a minimum of 20% recycled materials in its composition, such as glass, and its manufacturing process is powered entirely by renewable electricity and recycled water.

In addition we introduce you to the Sunlit Days Collection of Silestone.

We present the first Carbon Neutral collection by Silestone®. A commitment to sustainability in which we reduce and offset the emissions of the manufacturing process with reforestation projects.

In addition, all colours in the Sunlit Days collection feature HybriQ+® technology: A sustainable manufacturing process which uses a minimum of 20% recycled glass in its composition.

This collection is also the start of a collaboration between Cosentino and Equilibrio Marino to save the Mediterranean.

Sunlit Days is inspired by the evocative Mediterranean shades of a unique lifestyle.

Circularity for Glass in London Architecture

Presented by Magna/Low Impact

Example facade& interior surfaces applications of C2C crystallized glass slab - made from off site glazed facade or float and bottle wastestream (without resin). Totally Circular.

Andrew Savile, Architect and director of Low Impact Ltd. Discusses the manufacture, processing and application of this ground breaking material Magna Glaskeramik which received the Solar Impulse Foundation Label in 2020.

There is a recent interest in BAMB materials but few offer durability, incombustibility and performance for facade as well as interior surfacing.

Creating Furniture Instead of Waste

Presented by Mater

Mater means ‘mother’ in Latin. The name is the daily reminder of our small contribution to preventing the challenges ‘mother earth’ faces. Design influences how we as humans live our lives; it shapes values, culture and society. Unfortunately, we are increasingly aware that the choices made during design processes often have environmental consequences. However, as a manufacturer, we have the opportunity to rethink dubious practices and create ethical and sustainable design that minimises adverse social and environmental impacts.

Circular Economy Building is Deficient: Healthy Futurescapes Require Robust Regenerative Design Based on Cradle to Cradle® Principles by 540 world

Presented by Cradle to Cradle® Principles. 540 WORLD

Circular Economy Building is Deficient: Healthy Futurescapes Require Robust Regenerative Design Based on Cradle to Cradle® Principles. 540 WORLD presents two world-first case studies, an infrastructure Thames Estuary world-first with the Environment Agency and a London retrofit, showcasing Cradle to Cradle Certified® materials and solutions for regenerative design in interiors.

While C02 and more recently circularity have both been on the world stage as real concerns in the built environment, there are five key performance categories that need equal and urgent attention. 540 WORLD discuss how to imbed materials with verified safe ingredients, circularity/re-use and de-construction solutions, healthy air and energy, clean water and soil and social fairness.  This framework should be built into the design supply chain at pace to support the significant sustainability changes required for this decade and for the future.
